Get a job

Job search can be quite difficult by itself. No need to make it more difficult by doing or saying something wrong when looking for work or interviews. Here's a list of what you shouldn't do. These tips might sound simple, but you might be surprised to see how many people make mistakes without thinking too much about it. Then they wondered why they did not get a telephone or did not get a job.

Make a mistake.

Should the error type in a resume or cover letter drop you out of the dispute? It shouldn't, but it's possible. Entrepreneurs usually get hundreds of resumes for each position they register. The amount of perfection.

Limit your job search.

Don't limit your search by just registering in a position that meets your right criteria. Instead, have an open mind (remember, you will not know exactly what the work is needed until you interview) When reviewing work ads will improve your application and increase your chances of getting interviews.

Expand your job search.

It sounds contradictory, right? You should not limit your job search, but, there is no point in wasting your time or anyone who applied for your job does not qualify for. The man who works as a child care provider is not, and will not, called for an interview as a C ++ programmer.

Only online job search.

Don't post your resume on monster and hotjobs and hope that your email in the box will start filling or your phone will start ringing from the hook. It will not happen. You must be proactive when looking for work and using all available job search resources - online and offline.

Contrary to yourself.

If you interview with some people make sure you keep the story straight. Tell one interviewer one thing and another thing is another good way not to get the job.

Insult your ex employer.

Even if your last job is terrible and your boss is an idiot, don't mention it. Speaking badly about the former employer was never wise. How do your future employers know that you will not talk about it that way, next time?

Underdo. Don't be dirty.

Not maintained, messy and bad dressing candidates will not get a job.

More than doing it.

I have worked for someone who won't hire anyone he can smell before they walk to his office. He might be too excessive, but the candidates will do better if they minimize perfume or after shaving.

Show your despair.

Are you barely unemployed? Don't know where you came from? Do you really have to have this job? Don't give a feeling of all that. You want the employer to believe that you want this job because this is a good opportunity and you can be an asset for the company, not because you need to buy food or make your car payment.

Show your tattoo.

If you submit a position in the corporate world, and another world too, you might want to cover your tattoos and delete some of your rings if you stab in many places. They may not impress most employers.

Give up.

Apart from how good the job market, job search is not simple, and it's not always easy to stay positive and focus. When you send hundreds of resumes without much response, it might be difficult to walk. Important though to continue connecting, to use all available job search tools, and to maintain a positive view.
